Inspiration

Final Products

For this project we designed a logo to fit with our personal company. Though we started out with looking for inspiration from google and from generators with the four words, I found that I wasn't really finding inspiration from those, and instead took an idea which I felt far better represented me. My logo is based on the main character of a long term project which I have been working on since before high school, and whose name I have already been using as my brand name on most of my main social media accounts. Actually, before deciding on the final logo idea, I had considered expanding on the logo which can be seen on her shirt in a few of the drawings, for an in-universe sportswear brand. Although eventually I settled on just using the whole character in the logo, since she has been the face of my real life branding for a long time. My initial design for the logo which is now on the business cards had the ends of her hair connecting into the "S" in Snowdrop, since I had wanted to mess with the text a bit and the curve of the character's design, if you looked closely, could resemble a "C", making the beginning symbol spell out "C S" for "Ciel Snowdrop." However, it turned out that the logo actually looked better without them being connected. Actually, I think it looks best without the text there at all. This is especially clear to see on the 3D objects, since the whole thing is much easier to see at a distance when it is just the art on the products. However, I will say it was neat to mess with the text on the business cards and find that because the drawing wasn't connected to the text that the text could be moved to different places for different formats and still look fine.
